    Are you passionate about making a difference in the developmental services sector? We are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, and we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic community member to join our volunteer board.
     

    Focus for 2025-2026

    In the upcoming year, our board will continue to focus on implementing our newly launched Strategic Plan. We are looking for a board member who can contribute their unique perspectives and skills to help guide our organization in this critical phase. We value diversity in age, strengths, ideas, and backgrounds. A diverse board helps us better understand and meet the needs of the people we support, ensuring the visibility and viability of our services.

    Responsibilities

    • Attend board and committee meetings regularly

    • Assist with strategic planning and policy development

    • Participate in fundraising and community outreach activities

    Commitment

    • Approximately two hours per month for board meetings, additional time for committee work and special projects

    • Three-year term

    • This volunteer position will begin September 7th at our meeting of members

    Meeting Schedule

    • Monthly Meetings: Second Tuesday of each month (except July and August)

    • In-Person & Virtual Meetings: September, October, April, May, and June

    • Virtual Meetings Only: November through MarchMembers may attend virtually for all meetings
