Gore's Corners Amphitheatre

In summary, the main activities of the Gore's Corners Amphitheatre are to provide an outdoor performance venue that will:

1. Establish a revenue-generating "social enterprise" for Community Living Dufferin. Profits generated by the amphitheatre will create a secondary revenue stream for CLD that will be utilized to fund additional programs and services for the individuals we support.

2. Host a broad range of professional cultural performances-theatre, music and dance - which draw audiences from Dufferin County and beyond. By attracting audiences from the GTA and other neighbouring communities, we anticipate that the Gores Corners Amphitheatre will contribute positively to the region's tourism, culture and economy overall.

3. Create an additional source of job training and paid employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Dufferin County.

4. Provide a performance venue that will be a community asset to be used by an array of community festivals and arts groups throughout the Headwaters Region, including: the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival, CLD's Drama Program; CLD's Joyful Voices Integrated Choir; The Orangeville Community Band; Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers (TOYS); the Achill Choral Society and The Sweet Adelines
