Community Living Dufferin helps make this a reality for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Our goal is to support people with disabilities to live with respect and dignity while making connections within their community.

First created in 1954, Community Living Dufferin has a long history. Today, with an annual budget of over $5.5 million and 13 locations, we are an integral and active community member.

Community Living Dufferin (CLD) is one of the largest employers in Dufferin County and is part of the fast growing Non Profit Voluntary Sector.

About us

We are a transfer payment agency and our primary source of funding comes from the Ministry of Community and Social Services, and Dufferin County.
Other sources include:

• Fund raised dollars
• Foundations
• Lotteries/Grants

We access a wide range of professional services for the people we support. Many services are supplied by professionals/agencies in our community however, we also access services in neighbouring communities such as Wellington, Peel and Toronto.

Our goal is to support people with disabilities to live with respect and dignity while making connections within their community. With over 200 paid and voluntary staff, and under the direction of a volunteer board, we assist some 150 adults and children in Dufferin County.
